How pricing works
There is no price list on this page, because no two loads are the same — and anyone quoting you a firm figure before they've seen the job is guessing.
How much there is
A single item and a full load are two different jobs. Some things are priced per item, some by the load — either way you get one figure for yours before anything is lifted.
What it weighs
Soil, rubble and plasterboard weigh far more than furniture, and disposal sites charge by the tonne. Heavy loads cost more to tip.
How easy it is to reach
A pile on the driveway is quick. A long back garden, a narrow alley or an awkward carry takes longer, and time is most of the cost.
What the material is
Some things carry their own disposal charges — fridges, mattresses and tyres among them. They're handled properly, and that has a cost.

Against a skip
A skip is a fixed box and everything after that is your job: a permit if it goes on the road, a week of your driveway gone, and all the lifting done by you. We bring the truck, load it ourselves and leave with it the same visit.
The genuinely cheapest option
Your local tip, free for most household waste, if you can lift it and you've got something to carry it in. Nothing we charge will beat free. We're for everything you can't lift, won't fit in the car, or haven't got the time or the back for.

Every job comes with a digital waste transfer note — your proof the waste left your property with a licensed carrier. Keep it. Under the householder duty of care, that's the document showing you did the right thing.

If your waste is fly-tipped, you can be fined
Most people have never been told this. As a householder you carry a legal duty of care over your own waste. Hand it to someone unlicensed, and if it turns up dumped down a country lane, the penalty can land on you — not only on whoever tipped it.
Councils work backwards through dumped waste looking for names and addresses, and an envelope in a bin bag is all it takes. "A bloke with a van said he'd take it" is not a defence.
The check takes a minute. Ask any waste carrier for their registration number, then look it up on the Environment Agency's public register. If they can't give you one, don't let them load it.

How much does rubbish removal cost?
There's no fixed price list, because no two loads are the same. The price comes down to four things: how much there is, what it weighs, how hard it is to get to, and what the material is. A single mattress on a driveway and a full flatbed of soil from a back garden are completely different jobs.

What's the cheapest way to get rid of rubbish?
Taking it to the tip yourself. If you can lift it and you've got a car or van to carry it in, your local household waste recycling centre is free for most household waste, and nothing we charge will beat free.
We're for everything else: the items you can't lift on your own, the loads that won't fit in a car, and the jobs you haven't got the time or the back for. That's an honest answer, and we'd rather give it than pretend otherwise.
How is this cheaper or easier than hiring a skip?
A skip is a fixed price for a fixed box, and everything after that is your problem. If it goes on the road you need a permit from the council. If it goes on the drive, you lose the drive for a week. Either way you do all the lifting yourself, in your own time.
We bring the truck, load everything ourselves, and drive away with it on the same visit. For small or awkward jobs it usually works out less, and it's always less work.
Do I need to check your waste carrier licence?
Yes — and check everyone's, not just ours. As a householder you have a legal duty of care over your waste. If it ends up fly-tipped you can be fined, even though someone else dumped it.
